Lockedin_studios didn’t start with a business plan, a vision board, or a 5-year strategy.
It started with… a TikTok comment.

One day, someone posted a video attempting to do his friend’s starter locs and let’s just say the internet was concerned. My friend, in her usual confidence, commented, “I can do this for you.” It was meant as a joke… but the guy did not take it as one. Within minutes, he was in her TikTok DMs asking for an appointment.

Now, she knew I actually knew how to do hair, so suddenly I was part of this situation I didn’t sign up for. I watched a couple tutorials like it was exam season, and said, “Okay, let’s do this.”

And somehow… it worked. Really well.

That same day, with hair still fresh and my hands still tired, we looked at each other and said,
“Let’s make this a brand.”
And just like that, Lockedin_studios was created.

What began as a joke turned into a skill.
The skill turned into a service.

Today, LockedIn stands for quality, care, and keeping people looking cofident with their locs.
Because sometimes, greatness doesn’t start with a plan…
It starts with a comment.
